So this phrase stands for Head On Shell On. This is the most simple type of shrimp processing. the other name for this kind of shrimp in market is Vennamei shrimp.

What is rainbow trout and how different it is?
Rainbow trout is one of the popular species of salmon that has 8 developed fins. This fish has an elongated body and consists of fat fins. This fish is one of the free-living fish and has a very large mouth that can catch large prey. The color of salmon is bright yellow and a rainbow stripe can be seen on it, and that is why it is called rainbow salmon. The length of the rainbow salmon reaches 40 cm and the weight of this fish can be reached 1.3 kg.
Its main habitat starts from the Kuskokwim River in Alaska and continues south to the Baja area in California. The distribution of this fish in Iran is in the Caspian Sea, Tigris, Karun, Tajen, Salt Lake and south of the Iran. In general, rainbow trout belongs to cold and clear waters, stony, stony and sandy bed. This fish lives in cold rivers and lakes under natural conditions.
One of the characteristics that have drawn attention to this fish is its compatibility with dense breeding conditions. On the other hand, this fish is not very strict in choosing food and has a good growth rate. This fish has a fast growth and if they are fed well, it reaches a weight of 100 grams at one year old, 250 to 300 grams at one year old, and 40 to 45 cm at four years old, and its maximum weight is 7 kilos.
Most of the reported length is 70 cm. This fish is sensitive to whirling disease. The best temperature for the growth of this fish is from 15 to 17 degrees Celsius, and of course you should know that the temperature can be very effective in the development of the digestive ability and food absorption of rainbow salmon. Rainbow trout can tolerate higher temperature and less oxygen than other free-living fishes, and under the same conditions, it grows faster than brown trout.
