Items subject to goods smuggling
- According to the above definitions and in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the following are considered to be subcategories of goods smuggling:
- Importing and exporting goods from unauthorized routes
- Entry and exit of goods without customs formalities
- Non-exit of the vehicle or goods of temporary entry, temporary entry for processing, foreign transit and return within the specified period from the customs.
- Leaving the goods from the customs border without paying or submitting a declaration
- Passage of foreign goods that are replaced or incomplete
- Import or export of prohibited goods under the title of permitted goods or conditionally permitted goods
- Adding other goods to the goods declared in the documents submitted to customs
- Entry of an authorized or conditionally authorized product in the name of another authorized or conditionally authorized product with a lower entry fee
- Non-entry of vehicles and goods with prohibited export or subject to temporary exit or cabotage within a certain period of time into the customs territory, with the exception of cases of force majeure.
- Entry and exit of goods using exemptions by submitting false declarations or false documents or submitting fake permits to customs
- Exchange of export goods obtained license with prohibited or conditional or lower value goods
- Transferring exempted goods to others without complying with the rules

- Failure to return the declared goods to the country in the name of temporary departure or border crossing
- Clearance of goods by providing fake permits
- Declaring imported goods without obtaining legal permission from the relevant authorities as Iran’s trademark
- Importing goods using facilities for commercial purposes according to the laws, but personal use of the above goods, such as passenger facilities, border crossing and sailor cooperatives
- Departure of imported goods accompanied by passengers or goods subject to border crossing facilities of border provinces without customs formalities.
- Buying, selling, entering, exiting or remittance of currency without following the rules or obtaining permission from the central bank
- Supplying goods with sales remittances of the organization of collection and sale of property or other organizations in case of non-compliance with the specifications of the remittance
- Supply of imported goods without product ID and tracking ID at the retail level
- Any type of action to take the goods out of the country without performing legal formalities, if proven with the help of documents by the relevant authorities
What documents are needed for goods clearance?
